DFK Omelet's spring exhibition invited everyone to look beyond the surface and explore the unseen connections that shape our world. Under the theme INVISIBLE THREAD, the exhibition traced the spaces where relationships and systems emerge, shift, and dissolve—asking what remains when physical presence fades, and how these intangible ties continue to guide the way we move through life.
Each member brought their own interpretation of this theme to life through a striking variety of mediums, blending design and technology in unexpected ways. Some projects analyzed the distinct personalities of different social media platforms, translating these traits into short videos. One piece incorporated an Arduino device into a heart-shaped object, creating a work that responded to touch and movement. Another visualized the importance of respecting cultural credit, pairing the piece with a QR code that offered viewers a deeper explanation of its message. One work brought music and exhibition together, transforming the space into an immersive sensory experience. And one especially moving piece used bleach to draw the image of a lost cat onto fabric, expressing longing and hope through an invisible line—a quiet reminder of the connections we carry even when something, or someone, is gone.
Together, these works formed a rich tapestry of perspectives on a single shared theme, each thread distinct yet part of a larger whole. The exhibition was a testament to the creativity and depth within DFK Omelet, showing how invisible connections—between people, ideas, and experiences—continue to shape our reality in ways both subtle and profound. Thank you to everyone who came to explore, reflect, and connect with us through this unique journey into the invisible threads that bind us all. ✨
